On Wednesday Night the girls of T10 was surprised with the announcement from one of the MPP’s of an exciting event. It was a Virtual Run in conjunction to merdeka and for the front liners during this pandemic. Majority of the members in class T10 paid RM5 and took the challenge to run as far as 4KM. Since it was a virtual run, we actually had to do the run individually but to make things fun, the girls of T10 decided to do it together, the more the merrier!

The girls of T10 decided to start the run on the next day, which was on the evening of 27th August, Thursday. After stretching session, we set of to our running challenge and started from the Bus stop in front of Casuarina and used the jogging path to jog around UiTM Puncak Alam. It has been quite some time since we all last exercised but it was great to get back on track and back to being fit again. However, we only managed to finish half of the total 4km run as we were tired due to the packed class that day. Nevertheless, we enjoyed the scenic views of UiTM Puncak Alam’s greenery environment and beautiful sunset. For sure, It was a splendid evening for us.

The run was not over yet as we got another half kilometers to go. Classes got cancelled on the 29th of August, Friday. So, T10 girls used the few hours of free time to continue another 2km of the merdeka run. We started our morning run early at 8 a.m. sharp. The cold refreshing breeze of air was felt when we were running and circling around Puncak Alam. Besides, Puncak Alam gets very chilly in early mornings and late nights so we were used to it anyway. After about 45 mins, we all managed to achieve the total amount of kilometers needed for the run. After that tremendous success, we decided to celebrate it with a continued walk to UiTM Puncak Alam’s lake and Berlian Hall, did some TikTok dances and took lots of sun kissed pictures together.
